Frequently Asked Questions

Everything owner-operators and fleets ask before signing up with OPENLINE.

How much do you charge?

We charge a flat percentage of what you earn on each load — 5% for owner-operators, 4% for small fleets, and custom rates for larger fleets. No setup fees, no hidden charges, and no long-term contracts.

Is there forced dispatch?

Never. You see every load and approve every booking before we confirm it. We work for you, not for a broker — you stay in control of where your truck goes.

What equipment do you dispatch?

Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only, and hotshot. If you run it, we can dispatch it.

Do I need my own authority?

Yes — you need an active MC and DOT number and your own insurance to run under your authority. If you are newly authorized, we will help set up your carrier packets and broker onboarding to get you booking quickly.

How fast can I start?

Most carriers are booking loads within 24 to 48 hours of sending us their paperwork. Once your packets are set up, your dispatcher starts working your lanes right away.

Do you handle paperwork and invoicing?

Yes. We handle rate confirmations, BOLs, broker carrier packets, and invoicing, and we follow up so you get paid faster with less admin on your plate.

Can you dispatch a whole fleet?

Absolutely. We coordinate loads, routes, and drivers across your entire fleet from one dispatch desk, with volume pricing and fleet reporting for operations of 10 trucks or more.
